To be awarded the NCFE Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, learners are required to successfully complete five mandatory units and a minimum of one optional unit.

Candidates who successfully complete this qualification will have a fundamental understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer in relation to legislation, equality, diversity, inclusivity and meeting the needs of learners.

They will be able to use initial and diagnostic assessments and plan and deliver inclusive teaching and learning. They will also be able to assess learning and use appropriate resources to support effective learning.

The qualification allows candidates to progress into employment as teachers/trainers, as well as to the following qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. This will allow you to achieve QTLS a Professional Status recognised in the education sector

Requirements

Must be 19 Years of age and have at least a Level 3 qualification in the subject they want to teach. Must be able to log a minimum of 30 hours of teaching
